Loading tonight's sky…
We ran ten years of Florida Lotto and Powerball draws, 2,445 drawings, against the weather over the Tallahassee studio, the moon, the planets, the zodiac and the price of gold. All of it is here for you to dig through. Then pick your own numbers.
Under tonight's conditions, these have hit most
Put them on a slip and we'll email you a reminder before the draw.

What's in the lab
The Explorer
Stack any conditions you like. The balls re-roll live: bright means that number has come up more than expected under those conditions, dim means less. Tap a ball to add it to your slip.
Powerball (red ball) under these conditions
Top 12 under these conditions
Expected = matching draws × numbers picked ÷ numbers in the pool. "Chance" is how often plain luck would produce a count at least this far from expected. Remember this is the best of 69 or 53 numbers: the top one always looks rare, so treat anything above about 1 in 500 as ordinary.

Every number has a story
Pick a ball. How often it hits, how long it has been missing, and the conditions it seems to like.
Build a slip
Tap numbers here, or send them over from the Explorer. Save the slip, copy it, then buy the real ticket from the Florida Lottery.

The Model
Everything on this site is open. This part isn't. Our picks for the next draw come from a model that leans away from the numbers most people play, so if you ever hit, you share the jackpot with fewer people. The conditions-adjusted overlay is the fun part.
Picks for the next draw
Built to avoid birthday numbers and the combinations people play most. Anti-popularity score: 94.
$1 a month when it launches. Leave your email and you'll get the first month free, plus a nightly email with the picks and that night's conditions.
How honest is this, really?
Very. Lottery balls don't remember anything. We tested condition-by-number combinations. By pure chance you'd expect about of them to look wildly unusual; we found . After correcting for all those tests, the strongest "pattern" on this site isn't even close to the bar scientists use, and the top findings are mostly the all-time hottest and coldest numbers showing up again under whatever condition you slice by.
Both machines test as fair: Powerball p = , Florida Lotto p = (anything over 0.05 is "consistent with random").
The one real lever is popularity. Birthdays keep most picks under 32, and people love 7, 11, 21, and visual patterns. Pick numbers other people avoid and you win the same amount of the time but split with fewer people. That's what the model does. The moon is for fun.
